Amenities & more

Outdoors

All are welcome. If you are full milsim or if you have a spring pistol and are curious, please come check us out. Our goal is to build a community and play safe and we need players of all abilities and levels to do that. The only requirements are: you come to have fun, bring a positive attitude, and remember this is just a silly game and we will play a lot of games in four hours. If you are willing to call your hits we will be well on our way to having a great time together.

If you are unsure, come out and watch, ask questions, meet us, visit and see if the field is a good fit. We think you will find it time well spent and will want to return.

We are open every Sat and Sun at 12:30pm for staging and play from 1 to 5 pm — rain, snow, sleet, hail, or shine. Tuesdays — stage at 5:30 and play 6pm  to 7:45pm. Rentals include eye protection, face mask, replica, magazine, battery, dead rag and bbs for $15 additional dollars.

We currently average 35 players in the freezing rain or 50 in the sunshine. Our best days have been when we were able to spend the day outside, make new friends, shoot a lot of bbs, and create memories to share for the rest of the week. We have already met great people like Geoff and Thomas F, Mawyer and the Fishburne Airsoft Club, Kevin W (EMT), John D from the Bay, Mitch H from the Conex, Cameron S from Draft, VanMan, Cole D from Baltimore, Alston W from WVA, Ryan D from 81 N,  Will D from Lynchburg, Dalton T, Seth Stone, Seth R, Foxx, Linhoss Brothers, Bobby A from the Airforce, Lucas from VMI, Angel N from VMI, Papa Toast, Mass Men, and all the others.  We are very thankful to have met such a good group over the last ten years. We realize and appreciate – The people make the place.

We have Valken M4 replica rifles for rent. Currently we can outfit 45 players with equipment if we know in advance. Please email us at augustaairsoftllc@gmail.com or text 1.540.470.8713 to reserve. It is first come first served otherwise and we hate to disappoint.

Our goal is to provide a safe and unique field where players can have fun and create a positive memory. We have worked hard to secure land, create a site plan, obtain the county’s approval, secure a business license, build a parking lot, and create a field where people can enjoy the hobby of Airsoft. It took us over a year to develop and secure the permit so we are thankful to be playing each Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday now.

We believe Airsoft is a great way to build communication skills, teamwork, and integrity.  Come out and see for yourself what makes it so much fun!

All of our fees are reinvested into more infrastructure and more equipment. We now have four towns — Squirrel, Badgerville, Beavertown, Dogtown, Hare University, and 3/10s Tabernacle plus 2,500 LF of trenches. Come out and Play!

Game Day

Please bring a good attitude and a desire to play fairly. Our number 1 goal is to be safe and have a great day outdoors. It helps us start on time if you can sign the safety waiver online before coming to the field. The field fee is $30.00 per player. Rentals are $15.00 each.

Our typical day starts with opening the parking lot at 12:30, registration from 12:30 to 12:55 and safety briefing at 12:55pm. The briefing is mandatory, if you cannot attend your ability to play is at the discretion of the admin.

Remember — Safety is the priority.

Call your hits. You must have a dead rag. A dead rag is required to play and the only way we identify eliminated players. They are free at sign in – please use it.

When in doubt, call yourself out.

The first games start at 1pm and are semi auto force on force in either Beavertown, Badgerville or Squirrel Town.

The objective is to grab a Bucket / Barrel / briefcase from the Center / Library and return to your starting point. These games are fast paced and usually last no longer than 10 minutes. We plan for as many games as possible here in the first hour, switching sides every game. This a no medic or respawn game. Dead is dead. We may also play a similiar center bucket game in Badgerville. Be ready to play fast paced warm up games to start the day.

The 2 to 3:45 time can be Hare University Flag control games, full field conquest games, or Attack and Defend games in the Trenches, Beavertown or Badgerville. This time frame is usually dependent on the enthusiasm of the crowd.

3:55 BREAK AND THEN CHAOS!

Multiple Teams. This is a game of assimilation.  All players are Medics. Same team can Medic or opposing force can Medic and then join forces. The objective is survival and assimilation. Remember to make a call sign, and plan on lots of confusing situations. The last minute of the game results in having one giant team fighting against one player. Hard rules are you must be shot off of a team, and you must have a dead rag. Do not fake the call and answer, and do not switch teams unless you are shot off. Remember – at AA the dead rag must be displayed, and you need to be still and silent until a medic moves you with contact. Please say Hit Hit Hit, Good Job Good Shot.

The final whistle to end the day is at 5pm sharp.

Tuesdays

We stage at 5:30 to 5:50, and then play Squirrel Town warm up games for thirty minutes, then break and go to Chaos. Tuesdays are Semi Auto only the entire night. During the Winter months, the Tuesday Night games are all dark. Be prepared.

We have ten spring replicas if the players agree – sometimes these make for great fun.

Note – If you are not able to attend the briefing at 555pm but are traveling from far away and will be late – let us know. Otherwise if it is raining and snowing or high winds, and it is just EMT and Brik, we may decide to go home instead of hoping someone comes late.

The Tuesday night games are typically very small, and most players will use dual tubes, so don't be surprised if it is less than ten people in the winter.

What to Bring

A good attitude. Long sleeve shirt, pants, and gloves. Full seal eye pro. Preferably old clothes with a camo pattern, that can get dirty. Water to drink. Our emphasis is on the field, so we do not have a store or a food shop. Come prepared!

The Rental Package includes everything you need to play safely – replica, eye pro, face pro, battery, bbs all day, dead rag, water to drink.

  5. Once game is called, do not clear or fire your weapons until you have reached the safe zone designated by the operators. Uncontrolled fire after game has been called is not permitted.*
  6. Blind Man — If a person is seriously injured or is in need of medical care, call out “blind man” loudly. This will stop the entire game so that staff can attend to the person. This call out is strictly for injury related purposes  only. Keep eye pro on at all times.
  7. Do not move objects found on the field or inside buildings to create cover or barricade entryways. Do not break windows. Do not bother wildlife – bees, bunnies, birds and deer are friends.
  8. No profanity, arguing or fighting.**This is a friendly environment.  Remember this is just a silly kids game. Treat others as you want to be treated and have an attitude of gratitude.

PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY FOR INJURY — Upon participating in Augusta Airsoft events, all players agree to abide by these rules. Augusta Airsoft cannot be held responsible for injuries stemming from play conducted outside these guidelines. Players not obeying the aforementioned rules have full and sole liability for injuries or damages to themselves or other players.

Rules of Engagment

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT AND SPECIFIC SCENARIO RULES ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE.

If specific game requirements are set in the briefing (e.g. destruction of key objectives with another, specific attainable objective), the objective will NOT be awarded to a team if players try to circumvent scenario rules.  This includes boundaries, semi auto fire, and medic procedures, etc.

  1. Semi auto only for rifles and pistols. If playing with an LMG – No Full Auto within 40 feet. There are no safety kills.
  2. Eg 67 Frag Grenades eliminate players with bbs. Smoke grenades just provide smoke. Thunder bs with bbs eliminate, no bbs are just a distraction device.
  3. Please aim center mass. Treat others as you want to be treated. There are no safety kills at AA.
  4. Please say good shot, good job. It is a rule – Say hit hit hit, good job good shot, pull dead rag. Dead rags are provided and replacements are available all day. Playing without a dead rag is not acceptable. You will get overshot, and you will not be happy. The dead rags are the only way we identify eliminated players, please respect this rule.
Elimination

Calling Out – Call “Hit, Hit Hit!” “Say good job good shot” raise your gun, and use a red dead rag immediately. If firefight is too intense to leave, stay down until it is clear to move. All hits on gear worn on the body constitute a hit. Gun hits and ricochet hits do not count.* You must have and use a dead rag. *When in doubt, call yourself OUT.

If you are dead, you must display your dead rag on the top of your head.

IF you wait for a Medic during a respawn game, you can only call for a Medic. Do not walk to a medic.

Dead men DO NOT TALK. They do not move. Be dead and still.

Do not talk to teammates if you are dead and give them intelligence on the opponent. Dead men can’t talk! Dead men cannot use comms.

Do not leave the boundaries of the field during play. If you exit the field at the boundary areas, you must return to your re-spawn point. When in doubt ask, or go to the safe side. Boundaries – Chain link Fence, RR track rocks, field fence, gravel road, and of course the parking / staging area.

You must wait for Medic in the same spot you were shot plus or minus 3 feet or re-spawn at your designated re-spawn points. The respawn points will be designated at the start of the game.

No blind firing. Blind firing is firing at targets without presenting yourself as a target as you shoot. If you cannot see your target as you shoot, you are blind firing.* Pay attention to this around the cars and building windows, especially the prison windows.

Surrenders

There are no safety kills at AA. Please shoot semi auto and low if a player is unaware.

Attitude

Remember this is a silly kids game.  From the first whistle to the last whistle remember your attitude makes a difference.  If you can remember to play safe, and play fair, we can work together to have a great day no matter if its 30 degrees and raining or 90 and beautiful.  Bring a good attitude, and an honest approach to fair play we have a great chance at having an outstanding day.
