Mike Force during the Vietnam War was a quick reaction team for the Special Forces. Today they are known as Delta. The black and white, ‘skull and cross bones’ was soon feared by the Vietcong. But since the end of the Vietnam War Mike Force changed there name to Delta, so Dr. King (12th Special Forces Veteran) chose the name for our club.
Mike Force started back in 1990 as a paintball team. For a good 10 years we played every other Sunday, except for Mother’s Day. Then in 1998, Mike Force dropped their paintball guns and picked up airsoft guns and have never looked back.
In the early 2000’s Mike Force became a club. With the head of the club being an ex-special forces veteran, Mike Force became a name that many in the airsoft world get to know. Many of our members when they go out and play at other fields are recognized because of the ‘skull and cross bones’.
