AirsoftC3 has just updated the way users follow each other on the site.
In the past, each post contained a "Follow" button at the top right:
If you press that button, new content from that user will show in your activity feed. This worked fine, but many users didn't notice the button, or figured that since they were already seeing content from them there was no need to follow. In reality, they were seeing content from that user because they were a randomly chosen nearby player or an admin manually shared the post. That means there was a good chance they would miss future posts from the author they might have wanted to see.
What's New
Starting today, if you like or comment on a post, you'll automatically follow that user. The idea being if the post was good enough to elicit a like or comment, you would probably enjoy future content from that author.
What if I don't want to auto-follow
No problem. You can always unfollow someone by hitting the ... at the top right of their post, then select the Unfollow" option:
You can also go to your Settings and set the disable auto-following:
Our hope is that as a user you will see more great content without having to search it out, and as a publisher it'll be easier for you to get that great content in front of more players.
